Andry Rajoelina's zealous partisan, and president of the AV7 association, Etienne Andriamahefarisoa, can leave jail in spite of a condemnation from Justice.

The president of the AV7 leaves jail but must pay a fine

Etienne Andriamahefarisoa, president of the association of the Victims of February 7th (AV7), partisan of the HAT president, Andry Rajoelina, and one of Alain Ramaroson’s proxies, has come out of from jail. He has though to pay a fine of 200.000 Ariaries.

Kept in custody during about one week, the president of the AV7 has topped the headlines following his attempt to break into an elected official’s home, in the North of the capital city.

The suit has been accelerated because of the suspect’s calibre . Etienne Andriamahefarisoa was indeed Rajoelina’s single arrested supporter during the latest months, whereas the authorities have been putting scores of partisans and collaborators of the former president Marc Ravalomanana behind bars.

Three charges have been held against the president of the AV7: illegal posession of fire arms, usurpation of function and terrorism.

The AV7 association is regrouping the families of victims of shootings back to February 7th, 2009, when some pro-Rajoelina demonstrators wanted to take possession of the presidential palace of Ambohitsorohitra. The shoot out became his political adversaries’  main motives to accuse Marc Ravalomanana.
