Officer Roger Luc: Another soldier in the sight of the High Authority of Transition

On May 20th, as shoot out began between the HAT and the national state police’s intervention forces, commander Roger Luc clashed with a lieutenant of the airbase of Ivato, near the airport. Both men would have clashed for real. The dispute was related to the FIGN base camp shoot out. 

Lieutenant Theodule died in the hospital few days later. Commander Roger Luc has immediately been pointed at. The officer denied any of the wrong doing allegations spread by the press. He made it clear that lieutenant Théodule’s wound were in no way life threatening, the case is consequently quite controversial. 

In a recent press conference, the HAT Prime minister, Camille Vital, affirmed that an investigation of lieutenant Théodule’s death was underway. Sooner or later, commander Roger Luc can expect to be equally investigated. This officer who seems to disturb the HAT is form no on in the authorities’ sight.  

The commander Roger Luc and the HAT former Prime minister Monja Roindefo have family lindks. The latter consequently got a move on to defend the commander. Here comes another of those time bom cases on the pitch.
