Three mobilities: ruling together is no putsch

The HAT stubbornly keeps on believing that the power sharing deal accepted by Andry Rajoelina pledges him, lone and strong, on top of the State. The elected mayor of Antananarivo wants to do away with concessions to the other mobilities directed by the country’s three latest elected president. The Maputo III meeting’s reading accuracy provided to the previousy rather confusing Addis Ababa Act, turned into a new crisis within the crisis. The three mobilities adopted a common vision of the Transition’s joint management, which is close to the joint statement following the so named Act signed on November 07th, 2009. Were being created the words “Transition’s Co Presidents” . The HAT prefers to skirt around the issue by inventing the unprecedented funtions of: “cochairman of the presidential council “.

Fetison Andrianirina, Transition’s Co President, brings correction up. “Putting a Coup forward is absolutely wrong, ithe joint management is the most important thing to prepare the elections “, he argued. The former Ravalomanana mobility’s delegation chief tries to tamper the game, and brushes the dictatorial authorities up. It was in view of quick elections that “we confirmed Andry Rajoelina’s transitional president’s statute “, he explained. He emphasized, however, that ” all decisions are to be pledged by a common agreement with both of the Transition’s Co Presidents “.  

According to Fetison Andrianirina “the quick erection of a government” is paramount. The three mobilities’ resolution agreed in Maputo is, besides, planning to have all transitional political institutions in place before December 14th, 2009. In order to thwart Maputo III, the Rajoelina mobility is, once again, playing the clock. So it did at the time of Maputo I, blocking things even after the 30 days’ deadline planned for the setting up of the institutions of the consensual and inclusive Transition. So, the strategy to block the three mobilities’ delegations in Maputo proves crucial, at the expense of a diplomatic raw with the Mozambican neighbor about the air space.  

Albert Zafy, mobility leader blocked in Africa, does not appear impressed: “we have to go back, one will see what will Mister Andry Rajoelina do… he speaks as if all Madagascar was his “.The former Republic’s president reminded the deal:  Andry has been recognized by the others as transitional president against his recognition of a couple of Co Presidents by his sides within the Transition. “What are the criterias which would grant him any superiority? His age? His graduations… “, mocked the professor. And he added: “Saying that he (Andry Rajoelina) is the single one ruler is a lie, they are three to decide “. The leader Didier Ratsiraka thinks that the absentees were wrong at the time of this Maputo III, while recognizing that the Rajoelina mobility has unexpectedly been spared by the resolution. “If he does not accept, let history and the nation judge him “, warned the admiral.
